James\u00a0 Gilberd<\/strong><\/span> was born in 1963, and currently lives in Wellington, New Zealand with his artist wife Denise Durkin and their cat Leo. \u00a0He is a professional photographer by day\u2026. Running a very successful photography gallery from 37 Courtney Place, in Wellington City, called Photospace<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This gallery is one of New Zealand\u2019s few specialist photographic art galleries. His hobbies include playing the drums in various bands over the years, from the post-punk era (1981) to his current band, Kosmo-0, paranormal investigations, and authoring several books<\/p>\n

He is co-author with Jo Davy of a\u00a0 book called : Spooked: Exploring the paranormal in New Zealand <\/a><\/p>\n

James is a founding member and the leader of the Strange Occurrences, paranormal investigation group, based in Wellington, New Zealand. The group was first formed in 2005<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
